LaMonica is a nationally recognized seafood supplier with a strong presence in the Northeast. Founded in 1923, the company has remained a family-run business for over a century, taking great pride in the quality and care behind its products. What began as a small seafood shop in Brooklyn has grown into a full-scale operation that includes wild catching, hand shucking, and carefully processing and packing the final product.

The client approached us with the goal of giving their canned products a refreshed look. Their existing SKUs lacked visual consistency, varying in layout, color, and even type size, so a key part of the process was developing a clear and cohesive design system. We ultimately landed on a direction inspired by vintage seafood cans, incorporating a kitschy yet charming ocean scene as a backdrop. The final design honors LaMonica’s heritage and long-standing legacy while establishing a fresh visual foundation for the brand’s next chapter.
